Project Overview: A New Year’s Eve celebration that unites visitors and artists with the City of Boston. Family-friendly and alcohol-free environment. The design centers on high-contrast color relationships, pairing bold black backgrounds with vibrant yellow and red accents to create visual impact and energy appropriate for a citywide celebration.



The "Boston" typography features dramatic white gradients against the black foundation, establishing a strong focal point and creates a sense of anticipation—like a spotlight on the main stage of the evening.


Creative Elements: A fluid gray brushstroke weaves through the composition, serving as both a visual connector and symbolic representation of the arts and music that define First Night. This organic element suggests movement, creativity, and the interconnected nature of the celebration across Boston's diverse neighborhoods and venues.
