Anniversary Logo & Swag
This project involved conceptualizing and mocking up a commemorative logo for Lasell University's 175th anniversary. The source of inspiration was pulled from Lasell’s history. In the 1800s, the students would gather together holding torches for a commemorative moment. The tradition of passing the torch connects so many community members to past, present, and future Lasers. The Lasell torch is an important symbol because it honors connected learning and represents Laser Pride.
A clear hierarchy between the primary and secondary logos. The logo is designed to incorporate the institution's name alongside the "175". Both final designs have a formal aesthetic, which highlights the torch and the year. It represents Lasell's significant achievement.
